ClippyBar requires Accessibility permission to register global hotkeys and optionally paste for you. This is a standard macOS permission for productivity apps. No other permissions are needed.

Open ClippyBar settings from the menu bar icon and click the hotkey recorder to set any key combination you prefer.
Quit ClippyBar from the menu bar, then drag it to Trash. To remove all data, also delete ~/Library/Application Support/ClippyBar/.
You can exclude specific apps like 1Password or banking apps from clipboard monitoring. ClippyBar also supports Memory Only mode where nothing is written to disk.
Privacy Policy
ClippyBar does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All clipboard data is stored locally on your Mac in ~/Library/Application Support/ClippyBar/. The app makes zero network requests. No analytics, no telemetry, no tracking. Optional memory-only mode ensures nothing is written to disk.
